What clears blackheads?? i have dry skin and i hav TONS on my chin (ew) theyve been there for years im fed up?

i NEED to rid of them once and for all....... :)What clears blackheads?? i have dry skin and i hav TONS on my chin (ew) theyve been there for years im fed up?
I've tried all the Wal-mart brands listed above...

I've used pro-active..which I see as a middle class cleansing line...

I've spent $120 on top of the line cleansing line that only lasted a month before it was gone. (very small bottles)

The first two did nothing. The Glymed which was $120, worked really well at clearing my breakouts, but was so, so harsh on my skin, making it red, and unfortunately...I still had black heads!!!

The only thing that is going to permanently clear up the black heads is a trained professional. Facials, chemical peels, micro dermabrasion (spelling?), and possibly Lazar resurfacing.

By all means, try the store bought stuff first...And when that doesn't work....find a good, reputable, beauty salon and fix the problem once at for all!!!

Good luck to you! What clears blackheads?? i have dry skin and i hav TONS on my chin (ew) theyve been there for years im fed up?
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.

Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
Get some Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub. I promise it will work it did from me and im now blackhead free now. Give it a week to work. Scrub when you get up in the morning and before you go to bed oh and put some lotion on your face to keep it moisturized
Get another toothbrush and scrub them gently where they are ok?

I have lots on my nose and I do that and I have NONE!
I really dont know about dry skin but i use Clean %26amp; Clear blackhead wash and then use Biore (triple action astringent) and then use biore Pore minimizer (i probley spelled that wrong) but it really work and works better then Proactive

Just do it once a day if you have a dry skin

I do it twice but i have oily skin

If your face gets dry just put some Oil free lotion!

I hope i helped :)
I have had black heads on my nose since I was little, but I try to get rid of them with Biore Pore Strips. I don't know if they have ones for the chin... but did you know dry skin clogs pores? If you wash your face, be sure to moisturize it a lot to prevent it. If you expholiate dead skin and use a sensitive, unscented lotion it should help. Best of luck!
