Spots And Blackheads?

Generally, when i have a blackhead, i squeeze it, some stuff comes out with a black head and i wipe it away, thats fine, except on my forehead where my skin is taught and tough, there is a group of very distinct blackheads... no matter how hard i squeeze they wont come out... any suggesttions to get rid of them or loosen them up??

Also i have a lo of spots (... im a teenager if you hadnt already guessed) I squeeze them (they have white hads) the white stuff comes out bu there is still a spot left behind, with no white stuff. An improvement maybe, but there is redish pinkish blothces all over ym face. What do i do?? I have heard of the numerous spot creams available bu how effective are they really and which is the best to use??Spots And Blackheads?
Don't use Clearasil it contains alcohol and its bad for your skin.

Try a clean damp face cloth heat it up in the micro wave and apply to your face this should open your pours. Avoid using soap on your face. Buy a face wash from somewhere like the body shop.Spots And Blackheads?
Hi Ollie

How old are you exactly?

I would suggest going to see your GP about your spots/acne. I speak from experience, unfortunately I did give myself a few scars from picking at stubborn spots! Many people have asked me if I ever had an eyebrow bar ! Ive just replied, no acne scar!! As tempting as it is, try just to 'remove' the very obvious ones. If your spots aren't too bad, your GP can still give you an effective anti-bacterial topical solution to use on your face. Alternately, if you go to Boots, you can buy a facial sponge which is quite abrasive and removes blackheads, dead skin etc. You will find it in the skin/face creams section, its in a small clear box. Hope this helps. The face scourer/sponge thing definitely loosens up blackheads. Let us know if it works for you!?!
i had the same problem in my teens. dont touch your face . this will keep the facial skin healthy. mix little boiled oats to yoghurt to make a paste. apply it on your face leaving eye. leave on for 15 minutes and then scrub the black head places with gentle circular movement for 2 minutes. this must be done twice a week. wah your face with a neem based soap only twice a day. splash cold water often on your face also place ice cubes on very oily part on face. buy benzac gel 2.5% from chemist and apply it at night before going to bed. This will stop all your problem. and mainly drink lots and lots of water
Same with me it's really anoying!! Don't get the stuff from chemists though, its all a load of rubbish and just drys your skin out, I went to the docs and im on antibiotics and I've had some creams they take about 6 months to work but it was definatley worth the wait! If not try the body shop, all the things are natural and they have a section on tea tree oil its really good, and you can get this cream that fades scars/ blotches that you have on your face. It might do some good!

Good look!
For blackheads, you can buy a ';blackhead remover tool'; it can be purchased at any pharmacy for about $3, then you wash your face with very hot water to loosen the pores, the remover is shaped like a large needle like tool, at the top end you'll see a hole, you apply it gently to where the blackhead is located, it may take a few tries, it'll loosen and come through the hole of the remover, I'd suggest using a mild skin cleanser that is made for blackheads and spots, hope this helps.
Dont squeeze it will scar -trust me

try clearasil wash 2 daily

and there is a tool you can get from ebay called a blackhead remover

and try pore strips they work
use clear skin wipes they help to loosen them up and protects you against black heads and pimples
You can now buy blackhead removers from the chemist which would be usefull for your forehead, as for the other spots the doctor can prescibe some cream for them...so thats a trip to the doc's and a trip to the chemist off you trot. It will clear up as you get older too if you don't want to do these things. Good luck!
