I just recently purchased some wax... and had this crazy idea and dream of applying the wax on my nose and pulling it off in hopes of it lifting up the blackheads underneath my skin!?

not with wax.
it will probably rip off the skin, making it painful and spread the blackheads.
try getting pore strips from your local chemist.
they work wonders.
also try steaming up your bathroom and sitting for a while in there or have a bath/shower..
it will open you pores allowing you to get rid of those nasty blackheads..

Doesn't really sound like a good idea. Chances are, you'll just end up ripping off skin and irritating your face more. Instead, try buying products made specifically for removing blackheads, so you don't hurt your skin.
It couldn't hurt to try. They have a product out there that use something like that to remove blackheads.
