Horrible deep blackheads.?

I have horrible blackheads on my nose, I tried the strips and masks, but nothing helps.

Any ideas?

They are deep in my skin on my nose, deff not the kinds you could pop. I've had them forever.

I don't have that big a problem with acne though.Horrible deep blackheads.?
Just a suggestion: I have had some luck with a thing called a ';solder sucker'; (solder is pronounced, ';sodder';). You buy them from electronics parts stores (Radio Shack has them). Stick the teflon tip over the blackhead and release the plunger. Sometimes it works on the first try; sometimes you have to try multiple times; sometimes they are just too deep. The solder-sucker tool only costs about $10, so it may be worth it to you, to try.

You could probably return it if it doesn't work, because you didn't use it to pull solder.

I have had that problem before. The pore strips are a joke, all they do is pull dead skin off the surface.

What works for me is running very warm/hot water over my face for a while in the shower to open your pores and then scrub all the dead surface skin off with a wash cloth or something a little more abrasive (like washing gloves you can buy at walmart)and soap. The only throrough way to remove them that I have found is to manually extract them with your fingers. This should work now that your pores are open %26amp; free of dead skin.
Hey! Some things you could do include:

Boil a big pot of water, hang your head over the pot and drape a cloth over over your head to keep the steam within your head. This step will open your pores.

Next apply your cleanser and leave on for 30 seconds. Then just wash off.

Next you want to close your pores, by applying ice to the pores for a while.

Tip: You could also soak a washcloth in the hot water and drape it on your face

Warning: Make sure the water isn't too hot for your face!

Hope this helps!
ok i had the same problem and my mom just took me to get a facial like 2 days ago....now my skin feels so soft, even and smooth....and better yet, all my blackheads r gone!!! the lady did a special acne facial where she took this tool and kinda popped the blackheads out...it hurt a little but if youre the patient type, then dont worry. trust me, i had so many blackheads and they are all gone!!! so i would definitely go for a facial. im going again in 4 weeks!!

This should help. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
You will need some scrub I usually use the target brand apricot scrub and dont where too much makeup on them best not to wear much at all.
you can get help DO NOT GER PROACTIVE ITS WORTHLESS
Go and have a one off facial they will get them out for you and you will look all lovely and fresh.
a dermatologist could probably safely extract them.
you should try waxing them off..my friend did that and it works because it take them out from the root
I use to have the exact same problem. Large pores, large blackheads (made the pores look even larger)... But after reading some interesting articles by Paula Begoun, I now know what the right products and solutions are.

BHA (or salicylic acid) is an exfoliant that can help you get rid of your blackheads. 1%-2% is probably the most effective strength to penetrate your pores.

Use a clay based mask once a week. This won't clear your pores, but it will keep your pores clean once you are cleared of your blackheads and will aid your skin in accepting other products that will clear your blackheads. Just make sure that you aren't using a mask with irritating ingredients.

Don't try nose strips, they can and will enlarge pores. Your pores are in the shape of a tear drop with the bottom part larger. When the strips pull the top part of the blackhead out (the top/visible part, not the whole ';tear drop';), the bottom part of the blackheads will enlarge the pores. Not only do they enlarge your pores (which cannot be reversed), they can irritate the skin on and around your nose area.

Use a good cleanser, that doesn't dry out your skin. Make sure to cleanse two times a day, no more or less. Cleaning less that twice a day will strip the skin of its natural oils and tricking your skin into thinking that it needs more oil and make it produce more oil therefore causing more blackheads. Washing less will let oil buildup on your nose area. Paula Begoun says that cleansers with Triclosan as one of the ingredients are more effective, however just because a cleanser has these ingredients doesn't mean they are a good one to use, it also depends on other ingredients in the product.

Use an oil free moisturizer. Apply it to your face after you cleanse. It will hydrate your skin. Try jojoba oil, I've heard wonderful things about. Its consitency and texture is so much like your skin's natural oil that it can trick your skin into thinking that it has enough oils and not produce so much if you have oily skin. It also has many other benefits.

Have a dermatologist or esthetician check out your blackheads. They can help you extract them out. I don't recommend you doing extractions of blackheads yourself because it could cause scarring and hurt painfully, also you might not know the right products to use before and after, so its better to let a professional do something like this.
