First off what exactly are they? Are blackheads the ones that are like pimples but are sort of blackish around it? And are whiteheads the one with like the little white dot thing in the middle of it?

a white head is basically a pimple except they are not red and its the same for a blackhead except they have a little black mark at the top

They are clogged congealed skin oil. Blackheads have the pore exterior colored black, and white heads are 'almost' blackheads. These can make pimples, you get them by a pore getting clogged, and you can wash them out, or get a blackhead remover (try linens and things)! Hope this helps you out! :-)
