Dozen steps to get rid of acne (pimples).
1. Drink water. Plenty of it.
2. Don't pick, press or rub your pimples. If you do, you risk spreading the bacteria and increasing the chances of scarring.
3. Use an over-the-counter product containing benzoyl peroxide once or twice a day. It helps break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria, and oil that clogs the pore and forms an acne blemish. Start with the lowest concentration, and work your way up.
4. Don't just spot-treat acne; put the product on acne-prone areas, too. That can include your entire face (avoid the lips and eyes), back, and chest.
5. Go easy on your face. Washing removes oils from the surface of the skin, not from within the plugged ducts. In fact, if you're too aggressive in your quest for cleanliness, you may end up drying out or irritating the sensitive skin on your face.
6. Wash properly once or twice a day, using a mild soap, and rub lightly with your fingertips and warm water. If your skin is oily, use a soap with benzoyl peroxide for its drying properties.
7. Don't use brushes, rough sponges, cleansers with granules or walnut hulls, or anything similar on the delicate facial skin.
8. Don't use oily products, such as hair pomades, heavy oil-based facial moisturizers, or oily cleansers.
9. Don't rest your chin on your hands or constantly touch your face.
10. Don't worry about what you eat, unless you notice a correlation between a particular food and your skin breaking out. But try to avoid the sugar.
11. Watch out for iodine, which can be found in multiple vitamins and iodized salt. Some doctors believe iodine may encourage acne.
12. Use the prescribed medicines for acne treatment, Differin gel (0.1%) and Accutane are the best of them.

I bought Clearsil Ultra for my son and it works wonders. It's roughly $7...Try that before you go spend money on expensive products like ProActive.
get biore products and neutrogina products. i use them and i have sensitive skin and it works on me.
St. ives scrub, blemish and blackhead control, it works really well.
I will send you some links to a great website that has a lot of all natural home remedies. They work really good, I use them all the time.
Peace
GG
maybe its your diet( something that you eat) like chocolate, beef, pork maybe your hair products( PRODUCTS THAT LEAVE HAIR OILY) , lotions, (perfumed lotion is a no..no..no..on your face) you might be a little stressed. i would find a product with natural ingrediaants, neutrogena acne wash, or PROACTIV( that stuff really works). sometimes you have to change the products you use on your face after a while because they can go bad and lose their effect.
Fill a sink with boiling hot water. Make sure U close the bathroom door, so no hot air escapes. Lean over the sink, so ur eyes capture the steam. Stay there for about five minutes, then gently remove any blackheads with a tissue.
You can clean your skin with apple cider vinegar as a simple home remedy. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
Get any product with Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA)...this is often labeled as salicylic acid in the ingredients list. BHA exfoliates deep into pores. Nuetrogena sells some good BHA products.

Help-blackheads?
i wash my face everyday and i still keep getting blackheads and i cant get them to go away.i dont have alot but the amount i do is pretty embarassing. Why do i keep getting them and how can i prevent them and get rid of them. Please i really need your help.Help-blackheads?
To get rid of your blackheads, you need to work on them from the outside and inside of your body. There are several home remedies that you can use to eliminate them. I would suggest that you drink plenty of water, cleanse your skin with a natural, anti-bacterial soap, and scrub your blackheads with baking soda, lemon juice, oats and water. Blackheads develop when trapped sebum and bacteria partially open to your skin鈥檚 surface. The spot turns black because your skin's pigment, melanin, reacts with the oxygen in the air to create a black, crusty bump.
The natural home remedies that I suggested worked okay for me; however, I would also suggest that you try a natural, exfoliating face or body scrub. No More Shame Acne Eliminating Facial and Body Scrub, made by Beauty 4 Ashes, contains 15 acne eliminating essential oils that penetrate your pores and gently lift blackheads. It is far better than Proactiv, which works in spurts. I am pretty certain it works so fast because of the essential oils in the product. Essential oils are higher powered and more effective than any acid or peroxide created in a lab. They are extremely potent and not harmful to your skin. Furthermore, they actually help to balance sebum without making your skin oily. This will help your dry skin.
I really haven't used or seen anything like this before. You can buy it online at www.discoverb4a.com.Help-blackheads?

If they are actually bad, go to a doctor. I went and they gave me this prespriction meicine which stops black heads from forming.
Beyond washing your face you should really try using a clarifying mask and also a scrub to exfoliate. I had the same problem and that's what did it for me.
Defiantly try Biore strips. They work great! They are like magnets when it comes to blackheads. The Biore strip pulls out all of them on your nose, for head or chin, which ever one you buy. They are semi-expensive, but they are excellent!!
Use a gentle exfoliator once or twice a week as well as a clarifying mask. i personally like to use a toner as well as that balances out you skins ph
I use St.Ives black-head scrub. And if you get them on your nose, try biore pore strips (you can get them pretty much anywhere).
Well keep on washing your face every night before you go to bed because that is great for them, and a reson why some people get black heads is because they eat to much greasy or fatty foods trust me when I went on a little diet all my black heads went away because of the little greasy and fatty foods I ate, but I am not saying you need to go on a diet just cut down on those foods. Good Luck!!!!!!
USE PROACTIV SOLUTION, IT HELP ALL KINDS OF ACNES. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAD ACNE ALL OVER HER FACE, BUT HER MOM GOT HER PROACTIV AND IT HELPED CLEAR OUT HER SKIN.

Remove blackheads really quick!?
Any one know of anything I can do at home to get rid of annoying nose blackheads? They're all over the place! I don't have money to go out and buy strips. I've already tried steaming! Thanks.Remove blackheads really quick!?
I would recommend a good mud face mask, it's cheaper than the strips. But if you don't have money for that either then keep on exercise, frequent steaming in the shower, good soap cleansing, and no extra products on your face. Unfortunately, some people just have larger pores that should the dirt. Good luck! (And don't pinch them, it causes more dirt and oil to go back into your skin and start all over)Remove blackheads really quick!?
face mask
clay mask
beat up an egg white add some honey and put on your face. Leave until it feels tight and is dry remove with warm water. Or you could try mashing up an avocado and adding some natural yogurt.
wahs your face with a mild scrub a few times a day on a regular basis...prevention is better than cure.
try bar soap and the rince with the hottest water you can stand and then get a wash cloth wet with hot water and hold it on face to it cools this is about the best you can do with out money but if you ever get the money get proactive its great
elmer's glue (like when you were a kid) put it on the area let it dry and peel
Use a mild scrub or exfoliant to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead.
Pat your face dry.
Place a slightly warm compress on your face for approximately 10-15 minutes in order to soften the blackhead, making it easier to remove.
Pat your face dry again.
Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.
Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You’re trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.
Only attempt this once or twice. If it does not “pop”, you may bruise the skin, make the blackhead worse, and could cause scarring.
Prevention -
Avoid using creamy, greasy, and thick (emollient) products. This alone will greatly lessen your chances of sprouting blackheads.
Use a gentle and water-soluble cleanser.
DO NOT use bar soap!!! The ingredients that hold soap in a bar form can clog the pores in your skin. They can also cause skin cells to flake off prematurely and clog the pores. If you have dry skin you will need to use a cleanser that has a bit of moisturizer in it, but be careful! The excess moisturizers can cause an increase in oil on your skin.
go to the body shop! i got a nose pore mask from there and it works really well heres the link
it is 10$

How do get rid of acne since 4 years?&also whitehead blackhead?
i have pimpels from more than 4 years. these are on cheeks %26amp; chin only which are postular becomes less in dry weather. i get irrited with it.also i have white%26amp;blackheads on nose%26amp;chin.it gives bad look from distance also even after cleaning it.what should i do??????????How do get rid of acne since 4 years?%26amp;also whitehead blackhead?
As you mentioned, different types of acne are treated differently.
For blackheads, you want either over the counter salcylic acid products for sensitive skin (use at night because you can get a rash from sun) or a prescription of Retin-A type product.
For pustular acne, you want either benzoyl peroxide products over the counter in the AM or something prescription such as clindagel, which has an antibiotic in it to reduce inflammation and keep acne bacteria at bay and benzoyl peroxide in it.
Cystic type acne needs an antibiotic, period. Tetracycline has been used for years and can be very helpful.
Give your acne products one month. If you don't see a large improvement, go to your family doctor or dermatologist.
You can also get a ';comedone extractor'; from your pharmacist to push out the blackheads. Don't listen to people who say it will cause scarring and all that. I worked dermatology and getting the blackheads out allowed the medication to get in.
If none of the usual products work, and the acne is really bothersome, then you can consider oral Accutane, which works like nothing else. It is a drug that is metabolized through your liver, so you need bloodwork before you start it, while on it, etc. to monitor your liver labs to make sure you don't have any unwanted side effects.
All over the product medications are the same: Benzoyl peroxide in the AM and Salicylic acid in the PM with a mild, non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging) face wash such as Cetaphil, Almay and a moisturizer that also is hypoallergenic and non-pore-clogging.
See a doctor. Tell them what you tried and go get something that actually works.
Clindagel and Retin-A changed my face. Good luck.
PanOxyl is good for red acne. I like it too, but all these products can be irritating, so make sure you get the ';sensitive skin'; kinds and make sure you moisturize and use sun block for faces. Almay makes a three-step system of Face Wash, Acne product and moisturizer that is pretty nice, non-irritating, and can be effective. Oil of Olay has some good systems too. Don't use soap on your face. Use Cetaphil or a face wash that won't clog pores or irritate you.
Tea-Tree products and men may not be a good plan, do to studies showing a reduction in tetosterone, with female characteristics like growing breast tissue reported. Wait out the studies before you go using those products. Check out the FDA site for the facts on Tee Tree Oil and men. If I were a guy, I wouldn't touch it.How do get rid of acne since 4 years?%26amp;also whitehead blackhead?
Jesus! you are in a mess! go to the doctors!
Acne is very hard to get rid of. However you can do lots of things to reduce the amount of spots and hopefully at some point if you keep it up, you can get rid of it for good. Simply:
1. Wash your face twice a day using WARM water and tea tree facial scrub (recommended)
2. Drink lots and lots of water
3. Eat healthy foods, the nurtrients and minerals in the food will hydrate your skin and help unblock pores
4. Dont use chemicals on your skin, only dove soap and the tea tree facial scrub.
Just remember to keep on drinking water and to eat healthily. Also makesure you at least wash your face twice using dove soap in the morning and tea tree at night. Only use warm water as hot water opens the pores which can lead to infection. If none of this works or you feel you cannot handle it, consult your doctor and you will be prescribed with a medicine or be given a special treatment. But i recommend you to try these 4 steps for a couple of months before you trouble your doctor.
Remember the 4 things: Water, Fruit, Wash, No Chemicals.
Good luck and i hope i helped!!
I had trouble with blackhead and spots but i used panoxyl, which you can get in a pharmacy and after 3 days they had all cleared up!
go to your doctor he can help prescribe medicine to treat a bad case of acne
