Remove blackheads?

What is the best way to remove blackheads?Remove blackheads?
Blackheads

Soap and water combined with a steam routine seems to be the best approach. Add dried lime flowers to a pint of boiling water and steam the face in this solution for 10 minutes. As a result, pores will open up. Press the skin around the blackheads with cotton wool or tissue. Another way could be buying a comeodone spoon. One of those metal sticks with a loophole at the end at any beauty store. After steaming your face, use it to press gently on your nose to tweeze out those blackheads. Then close the pores with an astringent solution, and wash with soap and water. A steam face bath with Epsom salts added to it is also effective. If the blackheads are still clinging on stubbornly, pat some almond oil on them and gently squeeze them out.

You can also try a solution made of 6 ounces of distilled water and 27 grains of soda bicarbonate. Rub this solution over the blackheads.

Milk also helps treat blackheads. Wash the face with warm water and then sponge it for fifteen minutes with tepid milk every day.

Apply a little warmed honey to the face, and wash off after fifteen minutes.

Exfoliate your skin with a facial scrub, twice a week. Make your own homemade exfoliating scrub. Dissolve four ounces of powdered almonds, two ounces of glycerine soap and one ounce of multani mitti in a little water. Then rub this solution onto the blackhead-affected areas on your face.

Large pores

While there is no permanent remedy to close large pores, astringents do help to temporarily tighten and close them.

Buttermilk has astringent qualities. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes before washing off with cool water.

Egg white also helps tighten skin. Beaten egg white should be applied on the face with cotton wool and washed off after 15 minutes.

Tomato juice contains Vitamin C and potassium and works wonders on large pores. It can be used alone or mixed with curd or multani mitti to make an excellent pore-closing paste. Lettuce juice is another alternative.

Pastes made of cornmeal or oatmeal have also been found to help closing pores. The paste should be made with hot water, applied and left on for about half an hour. It should then be washed off with cool water.

Powdered alum mixed with hot water or rosewater and egg white is also good for tightening and closing large pores.

You can also make a good skin tonic using equal parts of vinegar and water.

As in the case of pimples, camphor works well towards tightening and closing open pores. A few drops of camphor spirit mixed with rose water or cool water makes a nice pore-tightening solution.

The most important tip of all: start taking care of your child's complexion from the outset, so she never has to endure the pain associated with far-from-perfect skin. After all, prevention is better than cure.

Some more easy-to-implement body care tips.

1.Watermelon juice clears the skin of all its blemishes leaving it fresh and lovely. Grate a watermelon, squeeze out the juice and apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Now wash it with hot water and then splash on cold water.

2. Fenugreek leaves (methi) cure pimples, blackheads, dryness and early appearance of wrinkles. Make a paste of these leaves and apply it every night. Next morning, wash off with warm water. This improves your complexion.

3. Tea leaves and lemon juice helps prevent hair fall. They also lead to soft and shiny hair. You need to boil the leaves in water and strain out the tea. Add a little lemon juice to this concoction and wash your hair with it. Rinse your hair thoroughly.

4. Bengal gram flour (besan) mixed with curd can be applied daily on your face and hair! It will not only give you a glowing complexion, but also long and lustrous locks.

5. Orange juice is great for an instant glow. All you need to do is dip your fingers in the juice and pat your cheeks, chin, neck and forehead. Wash off after ten minutes.

Your kitchen shelf has been secretly storing all these beauty secrets for years. It is up to you to discover more. And when you do, don't forget to share them with us!

The rude shock in the mirror

You wake up in the morning, stumble to the basement and wash your sleepy face. As you wipe it dry with a towel, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, and let out a loud groan. No, you're not having a bad face day. It's something much worse than that. It's the (shudder!) biggest darned pimple you've ever seen in your life! Ugh! Where did you go wrong?

Pimples

A simple soap and water routine can help dry out pimples. Make sure your child washes her face at least three times a day, with soap and water. If your child's skin is very oily, she should apply soap before wetting her face.

Camphor solution dries out pimples, and it soothes the skin. Keep a bottle handy so you can pat the solution onto the problem areas at regular intervals. If a pimple-head has already formed, put a hot towel on the pimple repeatedly until it comes out. Then pat on some camphor.

Onions are also useful in dealing with pimples. Cut a few onions and cook them in lard until they become transparent. When they have cooled, tie the mixture in a muslin cloth and apply it to the pimples in the form of a poultice.Remove blackheads?
I know that they have some type of black head remover that you can buy...and there are also facial creams and stuff like that.
Try pore strips- they work really nice and will pull so many blackheads, u can also use a scrub to wash your face, I read that tomato works for blackheads too-just rub it on your face and wash in 15 min.
boil a bowl of water and place your head above it with a towel covering your head so the steam isn't all wasted and steaming your face opens the pores which can make it very easy to get the blackheads out.

Bad blackheads..help asap?

i have really BAD blackheads on my forehead and nose and chin and nothing seems to work. ive used strips and cleasners. what other things that i could do at home that would help?Bad blackheads..help asap?
facial mask

all the way keep it on and scrubBad blackheads..help asap?
ok what you should do is steam and afterwards use a masque that shrinks pores. I reccomend Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque im not sure where you can get it but try Sally Beauty Supply
Cetaphil is awesome for acne. Give it a try. My daughter used to get blackheads and she doesn't anymore with this. There is also a ';tool'; that you can buy that is specifically for black heads to push them out of the skin. Ask at a drugstore or cosmetic store. Also, steam your face in order to open up the pores and then wash with Cetaphil. It will allow it to penetrate deeper.
Salt, Honey, Lemon.

leave on for 15 minutes, wash off.

works for spots to.
STEAM

The best home remedy for black comedones extraction is steam. Take steam for five to ten minutes, it will loose the blackheads so they can be later easily extracted with a mechanical remover or simply by rubbing with your finger tips. However results are better with a commercial comedone extractor. You can use steam with water alone or may add some additives like;

Soda bicarbonate about 2 teaspoons OR

Boric powder about 1 teaspoons.

VINEGAR WITH CORN FLOUR

Again vinegar is an easy acne home remedy. Make a thick paste of vinegar with corn flour; apply it to the affected area for some time till it dries out. As you remove it with very gentle rubbing it will take out the dirty lesions along with dirt and oil.

COCONUT WATER

Make a granulated paste of coconut water with sugar and use like a scrub over infected area. This helps to eradicate blackheads and clear skin.

SIMPLY WET SKIN

After washing your face do not wipe off your nose and rub it with your finger tips. This will also help in getting rid of blackheads.

Acne/Blackheads. Someone said I should use GLUE?! So should I?

School is on the 2nd. And need to get rid of it before school starts. How can i do that at HOME and not go out and buy stuff? I have the Apricot Scrub and Clean %26amp; Clear if u know any tricks then tell me plz! I NEED TO GET RID OF IT!!! Thanks in advance ^_^Acne/Blackheads. Someone said I should use GLUE?! So should I?
Dont use glue! Somebody is just yanking your chain!

With blackheads i usually just pop them because it takes less time for the skin to heal then waiting for it to go away (but that's just my skin)

Just be deligent with washing your face. Usually 2wice a day is good. If you work out i would recommend washing your face after that because you don't want all that sweat setting in your pores.

But im sure they will be gone soon enough :) Don't try anything too dangerous just because somebody told you! It's better to have a little acne than a jacked up face because somebody told you to do something.Acne/Blackheads. Someone said I should use GLUE?! So should I?
Please do not use glue on your face. Beware of using any acne products unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor.

There is some research that suggests the hormones found in dairy products and a western diet in general may be a factor, but there are many others. Hormones, heredity, greasy cosmetics, stress, humid polluted climates, irritation to the skin, chafing, and squeezing pimples all can contribute to acne.

People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne. Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face. Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne. If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little. Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne much worse by using too many products. There really is no quick fix for acne. Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne. Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing. Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean. Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that. Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue. Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. A healthy life style will make a difference. Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

No glue is not a good idea.

I'd get a heated mask - and use it -

apply a compress to the area

use a pin and see if you can gently remove the black head.

(If it is on your nose gently push your nose upward)

Use Clean and Clear daily - AM/PM and find a toner to use after you dry your face this helps balance your pores (close them)

and keep black heads away.
I know a lot of people think this is overrated, but Proactive SkinCare works perfectly for me. Also, I use a light soap such as Pears Acne Soap and use a scrubby to exfoliate. Wash your face at night,in the shower, and in the morning if you have time. Hope it helps...

P.S. I know that glue can help exfoliate but it might do something weird.
i use Noxzema its the best forget all those other product what i do is i wet my face with a hot face towel then i spread it around my face and leave it on there for like 7 minutes
wash face four times a day and for now use your stuff to keep it at bay

no, just use your face wash.

Fisrt get those pores open by putting lots of very very warm , water on your face so your skin gets soft and pores open. Then, try exfoliating your nose when you wash it by using a srcub like St. Ives Apricot Scrub (it's like 8 bucks tops and they have it for Sensitive Skin as well so it won't overdry..This step is needed so the next product can really get deep into the pores) then after you do that, put some Noxema (they have Noxema for Sensitive Skin) and just let it sit for like two minutes while you are already in the shower washing up (that way a minute or two will go by fast, no need to stand at the sink for 2 mins...it could seem like an eternity!) Then rinse. Try to do it as the last thing you do in the shower so that when you get out (now this is KEY) you go put COLD water on your nose (from the sink or whatever) so your pores CLOSE up. Cold water closes pores up pretty well. I think what is happening is dirt is getting in your pores so no matter how many times you clean them, they are left even more open only to collect more dirt. Noses tend to be more oily than the rest of most faces and can really hold dirt and clog pores resulting in blackheads. I know this sounds like alot but you only need to do it once a day and after 1 week (tops) you should see results. Once it becomes habit each time you shower it'll be no big deal at all and not time consuming. Also, both products combined will be less than 20 bucks. Stubborn blackheads on my nose help!
Okay, I have very sensitive skin, as well.

I also have small acne on my nose.

I use these: http://www.biore.com/usa/products/produc鈥?/a>

  • Terrible blackheads?

I have really bad blackheads all over my nose and they have been there since I was 13 and I am really sick of buying things that dont work. Can anyone help me?Terrible blackheads?
Look, no one is perfect. Granted, genes make some people look like pepperoni pizzas whilst other look like the stepped off the cover of ';Vogue';, but its not your fault you have pimples. Always remember your true friends don't care what you look like, and that inner beauty is more important, whether your a girl or guy. There's a site for young girls; www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 , but it has great tips on there that can work for anyone.

Check your habits. Do you prop up your chin with your hands? Thats asking for chin zits. Clean your specs often so you won't get pimples on the bridge of your nose.

Don't pop them! If you want them to go away, make a paste of baking soda and water and dab it on the zit, then go to sleep. In the morning it should be dried up. Also, toothpaste or honey works for some people, but its not recommended.

Every other day, use normal table salt and water to wash your face. The salt will scratch the dead skin off your face, and help prevent pimples. Don't scrub too hard, or it'll hurt.

My brother gets zits all the time, so I'm somewhat of an 'expert', lol! Let me know if it works and if you need more help!Terrible blackheads?
omg use biore nose strips! they work great!!!!! good luck =)
Have you tried the Neutrogena products or ProActive?
Drink water its really simple just replace everything you drink with water. :) i also use a clay mask EVERYNIGHT and you will be able to see the difference within 2weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!Also maybe get a facial? xgdluckx
Instead of pore strips, you might want to try on those mask which will harden. I like the flexibility of applying wherever you would like it to be.

Try searching under ';Shiseido Blackhead peel off mask';, saw a few illustrations and it seems pretty effective.

The price is reasonable. No harm trying. I've purchased this as well and waiting for the seller to deliver to me. Can find it on eBay too!
Try St.Ives Apricot scrub. Or go get a facial, where they can steam your face to clean your pores. A chemical peel. Don't ever give up!!

Gather all materials beforehand -- see ';Things You'll Need'; below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I'd recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can't just say, ';Get out, I'm flattening a pimple,'; can you?

    Things You'll Need

    - 3 or more cotton balls

    - Lukewarm tap water

    - Cup to hold the water in

    - Salt

    The Method

    1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.

    2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.

    3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.

    4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.

    5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.

    6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.

    7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.

    8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.

    9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You've just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!

    10. Apply honey on the infected area %26amp; go to sleep!!

    Tips

*Don't forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.

*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.

    * You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.

    * This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.

    Warnings

    * Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to ';pop'; pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don't pop them.

    * If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!

If you feel new pimples erupting, ice it! Hold an ice cube over the area for about 5-10 minutes. It REALLY works!!!

chocolate and peanuts cannot nescessarily give you pimples but a poor overall diet can. if you drink sodas and juice during the day try to cut them out if you can, also if you eat fatty or fried foods try to cut those out too. studies have shown that if you eat 'garbage' foods and grease that your skin will show it.

other causes can be leaning on your hand (the oils transfer from your hand to your face and cause the blackheads and pimples), not cleaning your cell phone (the oils from your face are reapplied to your face), too many hair products (the oils from the conditioners create pimple and blackheads around the hairline.

to get rid of pimples and blackheads there are systems out there like the proactive line of skin care that are very effective. however you need to understand your skin. is it combination? oily? dry? any kind of skin can get out of hand.

the key is a product that dries up the oils and then one that helps remove the impaction of the oils from under your skin which causes a black head. for blackheads on the nose biore strips work very well. for blackheads on other part of the face and body you can buy something called a 'comodone extractor' from duane reade or a hair/beauty supply place. the best ones have a little metal loop on each side of the tool. to use one GENTLY place the loop around the blackhead and press and roll the extractor (don't pick or squeeze it causes bacteria to enter the blackhead)-the compacted oils with then come out. You can use this tool every day and it will make your skin noticibly nicer within a week of regular use. After completing extractions swine wither witch hazel or some sort of toner over the spot to clear away excess oils produced from the extraction. Do not use the tool on pimple that have already form or it can cause scarring. For already existing pimples there is a good product that is advertised in the back of most womens magazines called mario badescu pimple remedy-it works!

good luck! and ps-toothpaste does not work that well.
age is the biggest contributing factor in acne. an astringent will help remove acne. stress can cause acne as well. use a good facial scrub and finish it with astringent.
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. EWWWW blackheads?

I have some on my nose and they NEVER seem to become loose my skin is like really tight, what are the best solutions for getting rid of them pleasee? Someone said use liquid glue like u get in schools and paint it on the area, let it dry and pull it off and the blackheads will come off with it??? Will this work?

Do you have any other methods? Please answer!!!!! ThannkyyyuuEWWWW blackheads?
Actually, I've heard that you're just supposed to pop them. It's ok to do that with blackheads but not for any other kind of acne, because it will leave scarsEWWWW blackheads?
Those are probably just your pores. Try a blackhead removing pore strip from the drug store or a special blackhead removing tool from the drugstore ( can be found near the tweezers and nail clippers, etc.)
i never heard that about the glue, but i have the same problem and i use differin the only problem is you will need a prescription sorry, but it works wonders if you do get it.
proactive is awesum 4 blackheads!!!! glue wont take blackheads off unless ur skin is really loose
Use toothpaste, it'll dry them out and they'll go away faster!

    luv ya =))
ya blackheads suck balls, that glue thing makes sense i guess
actually the best way to get rid of them is to remove them. sort of popping them, but more like gently squeezing them out. YOu need a special beauty tool for it. my dermatologist recommended the tweezerman product attache or something similar.

i usually run it over my skin, wherever I have blackheads after I have taken a shower. the steam helps open your poors and may soften up the trapped dirt and oil. Once you get them removed, you really have to keep up on your skin care regimine. Black heads are trapped oil and dirt due to bad facial cleansing.
U need to pop them, it hurts but it wont leave a mark or anything :)
I don't reccomend doing the glue thing; it probably isn't to good for you.

I reccomend taking a washcloth and heating it up with very hot water, and then resting it on your face, ontop of the blackheads. After doing that a few times, your pores should open up, and you can squeeze it out, either with your fingers or a blackhead squeezer (available at most pharmacies)
Popping is the last thing you should do.
Porestrips! they r the world! and masks. Well scrub hard then a mask.! wash ur face reg.! =]

Blackheads are when the pores in your skin clog with dirt.

Pimples are when the pores in your skin are infected from the inside.

    Annoying blackheads?

How do I get rid of those annoying blackheads on my nose? They make it so ugly! ThanksAnnoying blackheads?
steam your pores open over a bowl of almost boiling water, make sure you are about 20 cms away. let the steam open your pores, so stay there for about 2 minutes. then get a blob facewash and a teaspoon of sugar, and mix them together in your hands, and rub in small circular motions across your nose and other problem areas! this really works, it helped me loads!!

rinse off (make sure you don't try and use the hot water lol cos you'll burn yourself) and then splash your face with cold water and dry with a clean towel.Annoying blackheads?
    steam your face!

    it works for me,

boil up some water in a kettle and empty it , along with some tea tree oil or peppermint oil and put your head in the sink (not in the water!!) , then put a towel over your head and stay like that for like 5/10mins

the steam opens your pores and draws the 'imputities' out

    :) hope it helps

Neutrogena (I think that's the brand)has stuff that is Pore Refining (cleanser %26amp; toner). St. Ives also has a pore cleanser. I personally like ProActiv best (it's now available in some malls at those little carts in the middle of the mall). Alot of acne stuff will help w/ the oil control and blackheads. When you wash your face wet the washcloth w/ water as hot as you can stand(don't burn yourself!) and lay it across your face for a few minutes(this is steaming) then apply your cleanser. When your cleanser is on your face rub it in really good w/ your fingers. Then use your washcloth to wipe the rest away. Next, you can use an exfoliator if your cleanser doesn't have on in it (your cleanser will have little beads or pieces of walnut, etc. if it has an exfoliant in it) Then use a mask on your face(mud masks are really good for soaking up oil %26amp; pulling out impurities %26amp; I like a peel off mask-you can find this kind of thing at drugstores or mass retailers) After you wash the mask off apply a pore strip to your nose (Biore %26amp; Ponds make these) let it harden and then pull it off(this is kind of gross b/c you can actually see all the gunk that was in your nose pores on the strip). Apply a pore refining toner. *Only use the mask %26amp; pore strip1-2 times a week.*
you can steam it before you start popping, it will come out easier...

if you want to get it cleaned professionally, go to a beaty salon/facial spa place...they will do that for you before giving you a facial...the place i go to charges about 65 bucks....comes with cleaning, steaming, black head removing, facial mask and shoulder/neck massage.
    Nitrogena Black heads remover.
Don't mash them--you will wind up with huge pores not clean ones. Do what the previous three answers said. Especially what casj2006 said.
Have you tried Proactive? I've seen it work wonders plus they will refund you if your not happy with the product.

Also go to your DR they can perscribe something topical.
Home steam your face. It is as easy as that. You can steam as many times as you like providing you do the aftercare thing. Use steam to 'open' your pores then cleanse with a gentle scrub and rinse in cold water to 'close' your pores after then tone and moisturize using gentle perfume and color free products so you do not to irritate your skin further.
get a good friend. have them squeeze the sides of the blackhead and it should pop right out. they should have long fingernails. email me for more help.
Been there. Your skin isn't shedding it's top layers so the pores are clogging up. You need to use a product that has salicylic acid to help exfoliate. Clinique skin care products are great because they do contain that, and their clarifying powder also contains some while providing great coverage. Good luck.

    Tiny blackheads? help?

i use clean%26amp;clear's blackhead scrub and it works-for my pimples, not blackheads. all my pimples are gone, but i have TINY blackheads that look kinda bumpy up close. how can i get rid of it?Tiny blackheads? help?
I think i have same problem.

Well, what i do is nothing. I don't know any effective thing for removing 'em, so i will just wait... wait without chocolate and with loads of waterTiny blackheads? help?
Are you sure it's a blackhead, and not a beauty mark, mole, or skin tag? I made the mistake of pulling a skin tag off from under my eye thinking it was a blackhead. If not there's a zit remover that Revlon makes that you can find at your local drugstore. I't a thin piece of metal with two holes at either end that you can use to force the crud out of the pore. Or you can try gently rubbing which hazel over the area for few weeks, or so.

If you pop a blackhead does it disapear?

I have ';popped'; a black head before and white stuff squirted out (i know gross) but i have like three tiny ones on my nose and even though i have ';popped'; them ... or so i thought they arae still there and the problem still remains? do you know what the problem is and why they never seem to leave? If you pop a blackhead does it disapear?
Loads of things cause them, Bacteria in the air etc. Some people who have reallly nice milky skin dont get them. Just make sure you dont squeeze them out, because the blackheads WILL increase more and more.. and if you squeeze them all out, you will end up with loads of wholes in your nose. Just get a facial now and then, they will gradually disapear.. If there really bad, visit a dermotoligists, they g ive you advice. Mine wont budge no matter how much i squeeze, And i use alot of products.. try sterilised water to clean out, im guessing this could work because it works when you have bacteria in your eye. Just make sure you dont touch the water with your hands because then its contaminated. If you pop a blackhead does it disapear?
    use pimple cream Report Abuse

    Probably some scrap you ate!
Popping blackheads and pimples leaves marks on your face - I don't ever do hence I don't have the urge to do so either! They will go away on its own
Use an exfoliator and really warm water to open the pores, then push the blackhead out with dull tweezers or something. Or do the same exfoliating thing and follow up with Biore strips, rise with cold water to close the pores. Then moisturize with a light, oil free moisturizer.
This is a blocked pore problem that will only go away if you wash regularly, and clense your skin daily.

Go see your GP and he will provide you with a facial cream but stop squeezing them because all you will do is break your skin making it look worse and increase the risk of infection.
No. It's right there in your hand or tissue. It didn't disappear.

  • I cant pop my spots or blackheads??

I have blackheads on my nose especially my the top of my nostrils and at the side so when i try popping them it really hurts and my spots toI cant pop my spots or blackheads??
leave them alone then! tea tree works.I cant pop my spots or blackheads??
I think you should remove them with strips. Biore!
use the biome white strips...they'r simple and dont hurt alot..
Don't squeeze you'll make them sore and get them infected all round far more ugly than the spot itself.
They aren't poppable, you'll end up damaging your skin trying to. You need to get the biore' strips, in a supermarket or cvs or wherever they sell face wash, soaps, lotions, etc. They work great for pulling them out.

You'll actually see them on the strip and realize how long they are. It reminds me of getting your hair waxed and the wax pulls the hair out all the way to the root. It works the same way. Black heads are longer than you realize.

Do that and get a good face wash to take care of your face! You only get one and my grandmother always used to say, every day that you wash your face and put lotion on it, is one more day you will look young.
Don't do that!!! You'll scar yourself or get an infection.
just squeeze em n grin and bare it dont listen to the rubbish about not popping them im 53 and it didnt hurt me .
    ewwwww
Is your skin really in such a bad condition. ?

Buy a bottle of 10 vol Hydrogen peroxide at the Chemist .

Drop4 drops in a small amount of water dab on the spots with tissue or cotton wool

Hydrogen peroxide carries oxygen to the bacteria in the spots killing it off . Bacteria cannot live when exposed to oxygen . I also recommend Sulphur rich food s If you are really concerned with your problem you Will research these .

Good Nutrition A=D also expose your ski to a little sunlight consult your Doctor if it gets worse Acne antibiotics might help Go to ABC Homoeopathy on the Internet Extensive Symptoms repertory for skin problems . Takes time but you really want to cure those spots don't

    You .

I'm sure you have lots goig for you spots shouldn't halt your life
    THIS WORKS FAST %26amp; CHEAP!!!

I used Tetracyclin, Proactive, Retina A and had many expensive facials with less than good results.

This has worked for me and many many other happy people.

Go to pharm.,Drug store, or Walmart, buy ';PURPOSE'; bar of soap - Blue box - Made by Johnson %26amp; Johnson - wash your face with this

2-3x's per day. Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing

to the individual blemishes.... DONT rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction..It will unclog

dry it out and bring it to a head...DONT over use this or put anywhere else on your face. It will cause drying and make you look worse.

Salicylates such as found in regular asprin among other products work very similar but also remove layers of skin...

other over the counter creams with this product will dry out pimples but maybe too hash and cause surrounding skin trauma..

I have seen many people recommending crushing asprin and making a paste which probably will dry out the blemish but again

pretty strong and probably will cause more tissue damage and bigger scars as an anti inflammatory

probably would take the reddness out... again pretty harsh for sensative skin.

Also, If need which probably will for moisture ASK FOR ';NUTRADERM lotion'; - the orginal not the new stuff, this works

great and wont clog pores or leave a residue on your skin...Any lotion that is completely oil free and hypoallergic should

work but again I recommend Nutraderm. I have heard from people online that ';Purpose'; also makes a lotion that is good, Nutragena, and Nivea

make good products also. I recommend Nutraderm from experience and my dematologist.

';Purpose Bar'; %26amp; ';Nutraderm'; are oil free and hypoallergic they contain no perfumes and are great for both men and women.

I have also heard great reports of this soap helping improve skin tone. Some people recommend the ';Purpose luqid soap'; saying

that the bar did dry out their skin some. The rational behind using the bar is that there are no ingredients in it that will clog pores, and

according to dermatologists they recommend the Bar. I have also heard good responses from ';cetaphil soap';. These products are safe for all skin colors and tones. I highly discourage use

of Proactive and other harsh chemicals for people with some natural color in their face due to the bleaching and drying effect it has

    shown in many many people.

Additonal TIPS: acne, pimples, etc are frequently cause by a bacteria or hormone issues that cause clogging of pores.

DONT PICK POP POKE (your hands are the dirtiest part of your body) and will cause: infections, spreading of germs, more breakouts and scarring

DONT EVER listen to people online who tell you to scrub your sensative skin or use harsh chemicals

such as: Lemon juice, vinagar, alcohol, etc... DONT EVER use that APRICOT CRAP!!! DONT USE

PROACTIVE- this is expensive and harsh it may kill the bacteria cause also Benzoyl based wash but

will irritate skin and cause bleaching of face and neck.... Other similar treatments may work.. also

things such as Accutane but have SERIOUS side effects such as Major Depression, %26amp; birth defects in unborn children, among others

If you wear make up make sure it is oil free, %26amp; hypoallergic...Eating healthy...Drinking plenty of water.. changing pillow cases freq.

etc ...avoiding dirty sports equp. such as helmets...can not hurt...Acne/pimples again are caused by pores/hair follicles becoming plugged

up, this plugging then causes an inflammatory reaction - reddness and infection (pimple)..black head is dirt trapped in pore, while a white

head is the same thing you just dont see the dirt instead you see white pus (lymphocytes that accumulate in the area to fight the infection)

It has been shown in many studies this most often not caused by what you eat (chocolate etc... or how clean you are) but most often by either excess oils plugging pores or a bacteria

on the skins surface. - Proactive works in some people because it is a strong Benzoyl peroxide based washed but is most freq. to strong

for people with sensative skin - this is why alot of people get excessive drying and flaking, rashes, bleaching or breakouts from the product.

Retina-A does decrease the bacterial growth on your face but also removes dead/living skin, this can work well in some individuals and

has been shown to reduce wrinkles and scars but again I feel this is pretty harsh on sensative skin prone to breakouts. If you choose

Retina-A never use this product during the day only at night due to the sensativity it will give you to the sun. You must also get a perscription

for this product and I really don't believe it is worth the damage it does to your skin. In some rare cases for very deep/large boils and cyst types

of pimples oral antibiotics maybe needed but I would first recommend trying ';purpose'; and a low dose ';benzoyl-peroxide cream'; along with a good

oil free moisturizer ';Nutraderm... etc'; this does work well.

THIS WORKS FAST AND CHEAP!!! I no longer get expensive facials, take oral antibiotics, or even NEED makeup... I am very happy - Have

very good skin... and have many many other happy friends... THANKS again to my WONDERFUL

DERMATOLOGIST... TRY THIS!! GOOD LUCK.... PS. ';PURPOSE'; costs about $3 ----------------------------------------鈥?br>

PSS never squeeze areas around your nose... esp sides of nose.... due to the fact you can give yourself nasty sinus infections by pushing fluids/bacteria/etc... into the sinuses that lay directely behind them...also washing with warm water then rinsing with cold opens pores and then contricts them...
get a black head treatment, you should never pop things on your face. unhealthy and you can cause more dirt to enter.
no! clean ur face with a blackhead cleanser.
Use a pin to get under the spot, then pull it out. Or use clean %26amp; clear to clear out your pores.
I had acne in my teens,

soak a face cloth in hot water and place on affected area bout 30secs, then pop away!
leave them alone! they might leave scars! use clean and clear face wash, or neutrogena face wash or mask. they will help clear up ur face, and keep it cleared! i use those, and these face washing pads, i think they are neutrogena, and i use face lotion, which i think is clean and clear. so, i hope that helped! my face is very clear! and i hope that works for u too!
You're not supposed to pop them. You're supposed to go to the beauticians for a treatment and let them do it properly. Otherwises you'll be left with little scars
get those strips - you run them under water and put them on the problem areas and let them dry. when you peel them off - ouch - all the rubbish comes away too.
easy peasy. Put your hed over a sink of boiling water with a towel on your head so its blocking out air and it well makes your face swet. And when you swet your pores open then either get tweezer and nip at it and puss will come shooting out good luck

    Blackheads on my nose!?

I have a million little blackheads on my nose! What can I do to get rid of them. They never go away! My nose is very porous and you the pores are big enough to see from just a couple of feet away!

What are your recommendations? Please factor in cost if possible.

    Thanks!Blackheads on my nose!?
I was once in the same position you are. I did this and now my face is actually extremely clear. So take my advice or not.

First I'd suggest Putting a Black head removal strip on your nose. Try the [biore] brand. They are the ultimate best. And make sure you get the extra powerful ones. Now, these wont pull out all your blackheads. And it sometimes dont even pull the blackheads out completely. But its a start. So go ahead and take a wet wash cloth and wipe away whatever you can...

Next you'll need a PEEL off rub-on facial mask. dont use the kind you wash off. Those dont work as well. If you use the kind that peels, it will pull the blackheads out, along with the dead skin. you can either put it all over ur face or just on your nose. [putting it all over your face prevents pimples]

After that. Your nose will look somewhat dried out so rub [rubbing] alcohol on your nose with a cotton swab. and then put some aloe lotion on it. This will take out the blackheads. Unfortunately. Your nose isnt going to rid of ALL the blackheads. Everybody has them. But you'll just lose the more noticeable ones.

Heres how to minimize your pores :

Emu oil is loaded with emu oil, an anti bacterial and natural oil that penetrates deep into the skin to shrink the appearance of large pores. Minimizing pores with topical care happens in roughly 2-4 weeks with consistent use. It helps to loosen dead and old skin on the face and body where pores have become enlarged. Emu oil works well to prevent the appearance of wrinkles and aids in smooth skin and helps to moisturize to prevent dry skin! ----------) thats about 15 bucks right there. But hey! it works!

    .Blackheads on my nose!?
use clean and clear black head clearing scrub

rub just a little amount on ur nose and wait for 3 min then wash off do this evry night before you go to bed and they will be gone in about a week it cost like 7 dollars
    Tips to remove blackheads

    http://www.askaquery.com/question/Tips-t鈥?/a>
Use a facial wash with 2 - 2.5% salicylic acid once a day (say, in the morning). This acid acts as an exfoliant, and will help break down the blackheads. Then use a facial moisturizer with SPF 15 in the daytime. This will protect your face and help cut down on oil production. Then use a gentle face cleanser (no exfoliant) in the evening before bed.

If you have further problems with breakouts, substitute a 5% benzoyl peroxide wash for the gentle face cleanser in the evening.

All this stuff you can get cheap, over the counter.
use neutrigina...i used to have some around like my nostrile area on the sides..a dn i started to use neutrigina and it all went away
i wish i had the idea, myne have been there forever, and i HATE them. im so conceted about them, im considering the rip off strips, but they hurt acording to my friend, but im willing to try ANYTHING.
use black ead removal strips !!!........................u get rid of them instiently ....then u can take measures 2 prevent them from comin back again !!!
    Use Clean%26amp; Clear
I am in the same rut as you are. My blackheads and pores used to be really noticable and I hated them. I still have them, though, but they're not as large as they used to be. I use the Biore pore strips. I think they're around 8 dollars a box. The first 2-3 strips you use may not pull anything out at all. But after that, you'll see all of these gross things come out onto the strip. Only bad news is that the blackheads will come back in a couple of days.

I have also been using Proactiv recently and that has helped reduce the amount of blackheads on my nose. My pores are still huge as ever, but at least they're clearing up a bit. You can't shrink your pores permanently, unfortunately. Sucks for us, huh?

thanks for any answers :)So my face is covered in blackheads.....?

You can try this. Make a paste by mixing 1 tsp lime juice and 1 tsp of finely powdered cinnamon. Apply it on the affected area before going to bed. Wash it off in the morning.Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

So my face is covered in blackheads.....?
    Some home remedies are:

    - Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for acne, pimples, blackheads, and cracked skin.

    - Apply grated potatoes as poultice to treat skin blemishes, wrinkles, boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads , etc.

    - Use an oatmeal or almond mask throughly to cleanse your face. Mix either oatmeal or almond powder with enough rose water to make a soft paste that spreads easily on the skin. Rub it on your skin with your fingertips, paying special attention the problem areas. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. This is very good in getting rid of blackheads.

These are just a couple of remedies.. you can just search up 'blackhead treatment' on Google and it comes up with heaps of stuff.

Or you could just buy a blackhead eliminating facewash although they don't always work. Hope this helps!
i agree with the facial suggestion, make sure you get one that includes extractions. also i would suggest a mud or clay type mask 2 or 3 times a week, you can buy one or make one at home(click the link). also you want to make sure your not over washing your face and using a good cleanser. hope things get better :)

I have had this blackhead on my face for over a year and a half! No matter what I do it won't go away! Its noticable too, and is pretty big. I don't know what to do! Please help!!Ugh, can't get rid of blackheads!?
steam clean the face and press upon the surrounding area.

listen, get a tool like this from CVS or a local drug store.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Two-NEW-Stainless-Su鈥?/a>

    ebay has many also.

you have to press gently and efficently.... blackheads don't come out on their own.

sweat it out! that's what the steam clean is for... turn on the shower to hot... (no cold) and sit down in the bathroom and let it steam up..... big time... then wipe the face down with a dry, clean towel...

do this until the skin is soft.... then see if you can't work that hummer out....

then shower and wipe face clean with circular motions...

your face should feel pretty sensitive and dry after that.... if it doesn't work... keep trying twice a week... and use some noxema in between time..

if you really want.. beforehand.... get some toothpaste and after you wash your face off with the warmest/hottest water you can stand.. as in place your face in the hot, wet towel.. and rub in circular motions.... dry face.. then put a thick dab on the blackheads surface and surrounding area.. then let dry.

then... again with hot water... and a washcloth.. wash off... friction and movement of softened skin will help work loose the carbonized dirt.

    steaming is great for this.

sweat is a natural pressure cleaner of the pores.

also.. cut down on crappy foods and more fresh fruits and veggies..drink your water!

:DUgh, can't get rid of blackheads!?
UHHHHH i HATE THEM! i think i had one on my lip for a long time but wasent too gross, but it jsut pissed me off! :P so what i did was just scratched at it and stuff and it went into a whitehead, and than pop the whitehead and vola, lol or use heat, like put and face cloth in hot water, and sit it on your face for a while, and it will open your pores. the second might not work for the big blackhead, but if you have smaller ones, its great!
you should try a tca chemical peel this really worked for me you should try it, i recommend it here's a link to the website where i order products from http://www.beautyscientific.com/ they also have very effective acne product mostly peels and skin bleaching products
This should help for blackheads. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
depending on where the blackhead is put a little bit of toothpaste on it before you go to bed. . .but if its really close to your eyes dont put it on there.

Either take a warm shower first, or splash your face with warm water to lossen up your pores, then

you can take two tissues and squeese them out.

    As gross as that sounds.

Blackheads are taking over my face!!!?

i've had blackheads on my nose and my chin for 3 years and no matter what i try they won't go away. any product that can be found at walgreens or any other drug store to help them go away?? it has to be kinda cheap in price because i am BROKE! thank you!Blackheads are taking over my face!!!?
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i've used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. it's a lot cheaper than anything else you'll buy also.. a bottle of uncoated apirin is about two dollars..

oh.. and pro active contains benzoil peroxide.. whereas aspirin contains salacylic acid ..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it's sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives apricot scrub (there's a walmart knock off for about two dollars).. and i do it about three times a week..

only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..

warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..

and watch the make up you use.. a mineral make up is much better for your skin.. it doesn't clog your pores or cause break outs.. i recommend bare minerals.. (this may be expensive though)

drink lots of water.. eat healthy.. and take vitamin e, vitamin c, zinc and b vitamins..

i hope this helps..Blackheads are taking over my face!!!?
    oxy pads!!

    they work so good

    u have no idea!!!!!
put egg white on your face at night time ,,, wash off in morning ... it acts as a drawing sap.
Well i don't suffer of blackheads very often but i found something that i use when i get them and when i get pimples.

It is Clean and Clear Persa-Gel 10. It has 10% Bensoyl Peroxide. It works great and it is about $5 at walmart.
Try using Avons Acne treatments they have really good acne pads. My skin would not look as good as it does without them.
    i realate.

use queen of helens mint face mask.

and get some toner, also dont pop them only leaves marks.

so get the mask and toner and then uhm if you can steam ur face to get the pores to open before you use the mask.
Black head makes our face dull and unpretty

Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Blackheads on nose?

I have abunch of blackheads on my nose. But they are so hard to get rid of. I've had them since I was 12. I'm 17 now. I've done all sorts of things from strips to hot towels to steamers. I even went to get a facial done and it didnt get rid of them! She said they were too deep. I even went to a dermatologist and they gave me some cream but it didnt help. None of the creams I have tried helped. Even proactive didnt help. What could I possibly do? I need to get rid of them. Please tell me a solution that rly works.Blackheads on nose?
    FACE BLACKHEADS

Usually blackheads are the result of oily skin and blocked pores. After a warm bath the face should be splashed with cold water.

IN a pan add 5-6 cups of water and add the juice of 1 lime. Remove from heat when the water boils. Place on a table and covering the head with a large towel, steam the face. Rub the blackheads firmly with a face towel after 10 minutes of steaming. Wash the face with chilled water to close the pores.

    Tips 1:

Boil 3-4 cups of water and add 2 tsp soda bicarbonate to this. Steam a towel with this and place the towel on the face. Repeat 5-6 times. Now rub the face in the area of the blackheads with a paste of 1 tsp curd mixed with 1 tsp of rice flour. Wash with cold water.

    Tips 2:

Rub a pinch of table salt mixed with a pinch of the soft soggy portion of a glycerin soap. (Pears) Rub well into the blackheads. Repeat for a week.

    Tips 3:

Take 1 tsp of fresh coriander leaf juice with 陆 tsp of turmeric powder. Apply this at bed time and wash in the morning. Repeat for a week.

    Tips 4:

Take 1 tsp lime juice mixed with 1 tsp of finely powdered cinnamon. Apply at bed time and wash in the morning.Blackheads on nose?
Have a dermatologist pick them out for you. Then get a product that has salicylic acid in it. What you need to do is try to get your pores closed, but without dirt in them. Keep your face clean and stop touching it. Blackheads are caused because dirt is getting in there. So if you play sports, or do anything where you're sweating a lot, clean up afterwards with a face wash. Go to a local drugstore and pick up something that says it will help clean up blackheads and/or acne and follow the directions on the back. If you keep up with a daily wash routine, they should clear up in a month. If you have dry skin, or extra oily skin, get products that tackle those problems.
Have you tried the Philosophy skin care products? The mini peel pads helped me.
well i too have black heads in my nose but like someone like you who cant take them away i say u get like surgery if you really need them out that badly
I know that this sounds really strange but, put Elmer's glue on your nose. Wait for it to dry and then, peel it off! Drink a lot of water, it will help your skin. I'm not sure if it will help with blackheads, though. Drink a bunch of water and then, go in a sauna and sweat them out!

I hope that you can get this taken care of but, seriously, try the Elmer's Glue!
I don't know if you are willing to do this but my husband squeezes his nose until they come through!!! I did this before and it's kinda painful but it works.
actually those are not constituted as blackheads. They are a version of clogged pores, but the medical term has left my memory. There isn't alot you can do about them, except for maybe steaming water facials.
Blackheads can happen to anyone, no matter what your skin type. Blackheads are caused by oil in your skin that gets caught and expands in the pores. Oxidizing from exposure to the air, the oil actually turns black.

what works for some people might not work for everyone but here are some things that you can consider.~

First, stop the problem before it starts. Use noncomedogenic, oil-free, water-based skin-care products. (Noncomedogenic means the products were laboratory tested and approved by the FDA not to clog pores and cause blackheads.)

If you change your skin-care routine and still get blackheads, speak to a dermatologist about getting a prescription for Retin-A, which is a strong exfoliant that opens pores, sloughs off dead skin and cleans out blackheads.

If all else fails, a dermatologic facial performed at a dermatologist's office involves a prescription-strength acid that gets rid of dead layers of skin and the use of surgical instruments to extract the blackheads.

Blackheads are a problem that should be treated by a dermatologist. But, if you want to try an over-the-counter product, a lot of people rave about Biore Pore Perfect Strips, which are supposed to lift out blackheads on your nose, forehead and chin.

    Hope this helps~
go to walmart and buy these things called acne pads

They have blackhead cream/face wash. I've seen a few of them in the beauty aisles. I used to use Neutrogena but recently I switched to Aveeno facewash. Not sure Aveeno has one for blackheads though.

go to a dermatologist black heads get inside your pores and are black dots do not ever pick at your face as you can have permanent scarring
What they are: little black dots usually on your nose. They're deeper in the skin and hard to get rid of.

How do you get them: they usually come when your skin gets oily. (also i heard that if you eat greasy foods, that causes it too)

How to tell if you have them: You see noticible black dots on your nose, and the way side of your nose where is hard to see.

What to use: Biore makes great products especially for blackheads. I use the blackhead strips (about $6 for a pack of 14) to remove them, and i use anti-blackhead warming scrub to help prevent and to get rid of them (about $6 a bottle)

Biore is the best brand i've tried.

One thing to NEVER do with blackheads is dont ever try to pick them out with a little pokey object like a toothpick or something. And definitely dont squeze them. That just makes your pores bigger and will make them grow bigger too.

    Hope this helps :)

They are clogged pores. You can see them as tiny black dots on your skin, especially in ';oily'; areas like the nose. Do not squeeze them because you could make them turn into a pimple. Use the little adhesive (Biore) strips you can buy in the drug store. They work to pull out the blackheads safely.
i have had black heads since about thee 6th grade.. it wasn't till recently when i started using '; acne free'; acne treatment by University Medical, that they went away... so yea... try it
Get some Biore clear pore strips. They will rip those suckers right out of ur skin. Good Luck

    Blackheads on boys?

i have a blackhead in every pore in my nose and girls hate it.

how do i remove themBlackheads on boys?
    Biore Pore Strips

Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - just use it as a mask on your nose. It has benzoyl peroxide %26amp; clay to draw out the blackheads.

Steam Facial - here's how: http://www.ehow.com/how_2564_give-yourse鈥?/a>Blackheads on boys?
just wash your face with Biore or something. try the Biore Self Heating Mask. works wonders. and I recommend keeping it on a little longer than it says to, it works better that way.

just try anything. just because there's a picture of a gir l on it doesn't mean guys aren't allowed to use it. guys gotta keep their faces clean too.
blackhead remoer at drugstores boys are supose to wash there face too.
    get a facial

dont worry its not only for girls then after that use neutrogena blackhead remover every day .. not every once in a while cause they will come back you must keep up with your face

    Blackheads? solutions....?

how do you prevent them, and get rid of themBlackheads? solutions....?
    lemon juiceBlackheads? solutions....?
the easiest way to remove black heads is

take honey in spoon n heat it a bit n then when its warm apply it on ur nose wherever u find black heads and leave it for 10 minutes.later u wash it off n u find that blackheads r gone
OK run hide where a bag on your head just don't go out.OK

also try i deep skin scrub you can by at the mall
    This works for me.

Put a tablespoon of Epsom salts in a half cup of hot water.

Dip in a sponge or rag and hold it on the blackheads until rag cools. Repeat. At first it appears nothing happens but overnight the pores clean themselves, or repeat. They stay away.

    Don't squeeze.
I've never tried this but read this in a remedy book. Put Elmer's glue over area - let dry - then peel of. Also, there is this Nivea Q10 Gentle microdermabrasion kit at Wal-Mart that is good.
Sounds weird, but a baking soda scrub followed by hydrogen peroxide really work wonders on blackheads. To prevent them keep your skin super clean and dont sleep with make-up on your face.
u can use apricot scrub which is easily avaiilable at chemist or if ur allergic to it u can use black head removal strips or clean n clear fece wash this will surely help. and if u wnt on natural way then take a tbsp of aloe vera gell add a few drops of lavender essential oil n rose water mic into a smooth paste n apply on ur face n neck like a pack it will keep ur skin dry n also remove d tan n black heads use it every 2 times a week or everyday. dont forget to drink lots of water
fill a sink with hot water and put your head over it covering your head with a towel for 5 minutes - this opens the pores and then do a scrub on them that will help loads. dont use lemon juice (he thinks its the answer to everything!!)
Find a 3 step system product. A cleanser, a toner, and a moisturizer. The toner definately helps your blackheads. Make sure you still use moisturizer after, but not too much.
I wash my face then use sudacreme and vasaline before i go to bed, massage it into the area of the blackheads! you will see a difference after a few days!

blackheads are not dirt they are just dead skin cells!

hope ive helped lv beckee xx

Question about the Wave and the Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser!!?

Aren't they the same thing but with different shapes??Does one have better results than the other?? I have the wave and it was okay, but it made my skin really dry. So is the Blackhead eraser better than the Wave. Is it even worth getting??Question about the Wave and the Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser!!?
the wave isnt technically designed for acne, its for cleaning your face, the clean and clear blackhead eraser is specifically for black heads, so id get that one, not the wave.

    good luck

Does the ocean clear up blackheads?

Sure does. Salt is notorius for drawing fluids into it. Salt ';dries'; things up, pulls fluids into, etc...just like the fluids from your pimple.

Gross, but true!Does the ocean clear up blackheads?
The salt dries the skin out a little, but doesnt necesarily clear blackheads (it doesnt really sink into the pores really deep).

    Blackheads/acne?

what us the best way to get rid of blacheads on your face? is there a product out there that does a great job? i have tried some things but want to know if there is good products out there.Blackheads/acne?
Exfoliation. But even that won't get rid of them permanently. They are very hard, if not impossible, to get rid of.Blackheads/acne?
    well poping = baddd

get a daily face washer and clean ur face exactly 3 times a day. This is the best method so far, but everyone is very lazy and does nto do it!
    raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar

heat a qt of water, add 3 tblspns vinegar, make a tent over the pot, cover your head with a towel, steam your face. then dab some vinegar on your skin to clean, do this process 2 more times, then squeeze the blackheads. mix 1/2 water, 1/2 vinegar, chilled, dab on face to close pores and tone skin....

    as a skin care routine,

    raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..

the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht鈥?/a>

Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a ';very bad complexion';. She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!

you can get it at the health food store, or in some super marktet health food sections. i use bragg vinegar..

    good luck

    Cheryl writes, ';My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up.';

to drink it, put it in honey and water, or apple juice--tastes like cider..cost is 5 dollars a qt at the healthfood store

These products are safe for all skin colors and tones. I highly discourage use

of Proactive and other harsh chemicals for people with some natural color in their face due to the bleaching and drying effect it has

    shown in many many people.

Additonal TIPS: acne, pimples, etc are frequently cause by a bacteria or hormone issues that cause clogging of pores

Other similar treatments may work.. also

things such as Accutane but have SERIOUS side effects.... Eating healthy...Drinking plenty of water.. changing pillow cases freq.

etc ...avoiding dirty sports equp. such as helmets...can not hurt....................................鈥?br>

THIS WORKS FAST AND CHEAP!!! I no longer get expensive facials, take oral antibiotics, or even NEED makeup... I am very happy - Have

very good skin... and have many many other happy friends... THANKS again to my WONDERFUL

DERMATOLOGIST... TRY THIS!! GOOD LUCK.... PS. ';PURPOSE'; costs about $3
go to any store and go to their face care section. get neutrogena oil free acne treatment. it's orange and really cheap. it helped me clear my face in a week. the foamy ones are really easy to wash off, but not as effective as one that looks like a goo type of thing.

  • I HAVE A LOT OF BLACKHEADS?

okay so i have blackheads under my bottom lip and they won't go away...i have tried stridex, and some oxy thing but they won't leave.

ANY ADVICEI HAVE A LOT OF BLACKHEADS?
I would go get a facial where extractions are done. I HAVE A LOT OF BLACKHEADS?
*clears throat* Scrub your face with a facial scrub. Then boil some water and stick your face in it. (be careful though) You should at least do this for .. 5 minutes, then wipe your face with some blemish pads, or witch hazel. (or just witch hazel) then put on a face mask, and keep it on for 10 minutes.

Your face may feel weird a little, not as in contact with skin, but just the mental feeling.
What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly BLACKHEADS.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

I had that problem too! One thing I would recommend doing is going to get them professionally popped (yeah..they do that!) then cleaning the area with clearasil cleansing pads. Good luck! I got rid of mine in a matter of days doing this.

    Blackheads on nose?

I'm a 16 year old girl, normal health wise and stuff but I've had bad black heads on my nose. It drives me nuts because I don't wear makeup or use pore-clogging lotions/moisturizers/sunblock and stuff and I wash my face everyday with a gentle facial cleanser (neutrogena) and use oil free neutrogena face moisturizer/SPF15.

I have tried almost everything to get rid of these stupid blackheads that make me very self-conscious to be close to people because I know they are visible (I notice them on people who have them too, and envy the ones who don't). I have tried pore strips, exfoliating face washes and scrubs, more chemically face wash (with sacrylic acids and stuff which just irritates my skin more), but nothing helps. I squeeze them sometimes and that helps some of them for a few days but not far and not that great.I am not an oily person and I eat a healthy diet, take a vitamin every day. What can I do?? Including dermatologist help??Blackheads on nose?
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.

Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC difference in my blackheads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!Blackheads on nose?
You could go see a dermatologist......

    Or

You could wipe your face and nose with hydrogen peroxide which would bleach the blackheads and make them less noticeable
Use proactive its very good my son has blackhead too and i give him proactive and it worked for him.
I found this great stuff that really helps my blackheads. I noticed a difference instantly. It is called St. Ives apricot scrub blackhead and blemish control. I love it.

    I've got these yucky blackheads...?

I get them on my chin and on my nose. They're really small but noticable. I've especially got some on my chin right now that won't go away. I use Clean and Clear Blackhead Wash (purple bottle) and Clearasil Deep Cleanse Face Wipes and I've also tried putting toothpaste, washing my face with plain soap and using a hot flannel to open my pores. They won't go away, pleeeeeease help! Thanks!I've got these yucky blackheads...?

biore porestrips may help. I have them on my nose and they wont go away also but the pore strips get them to go away better than all the other products I use.
Biore porestrips!!! trust me i had the same problem, the strips will clear them up, just follow the instructions on the box!!
I am certified beauty consultant and I can recommend you some good products with 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back!! Hope this will help!
Use the pore strips you get at the store. They will do the trick!
the ones on your nose: i know it sounds gross but you gotta squeeze those suckers out. wash your face with hot to open your pores, and then squeeze out the icky stuff with nice clean fingers. after you squeeze out as many as you can, scrub your nose with astringent on a cotton pad to make sure your freshly emptied pores are nice and clean. do this before bed so you can be sure not to get them dirty or sweaty again for a few hours.

also, biore strips work really well on some people, too (ive found that they work better on men).
An ideal mask that extracts dirt and oil from clogged pores can be made by using orange peel and yogurt. It also opens up the clogged pores that cause acne and blackheads.Clay masks used regularly helps pull out trapped oil and dead skin.Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

    Blackheads and Zits?

I've tried home made facials and acne washes. What do I do? HELP.Blackheads and Zits?
i got a remedy for you none of these people will tell you about, its called ascorbic acid or Vitamin C. Vitamin C is the nutrient in your body that actually fights off skin problems. So i suggest you go up to walgreens, buy either 500mg or 1000mg of vitamin c in pill form. Take one every morning with some kind of food. And be amazed in about 1-2 days. Once your face clears up take it like once every other day cuz, too much vitamin c makes ur potassium levels go up, which isnt necessarily the best thing for youBlackheads and Zits?
Ok, I have the same problem don't worry. Lately I've been using neutrogena's invigoration face wash... the blue one with little bubbles in it. It worked wonders for my face.... I have like no more blackheads and I've been using it for less than a week. I wash my face in the morning, I scrub for about thirty seconds, concentrating on where I have more blackheads and pimples, then I use an anstrigent (neutrogena toner) right after because it has acne medication in it and it also exfoliates and cleans the face. I use the wash while in the shower and using warm water to wash my face, and then I use it before I go to bed and I put either the anstrigent or just regular acne medication. Hope this helps.
    Hi Matt

Here are some real answers on skin conditions. Remedies at the bottom. Cleansing the body of toxins is the key. Especially a colon cleanse! Educate yourself on detoxifying the blood.

    Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman N.D. - ';What is your skin trying to tell you? Often the skin is a metaphor for deeper issues and a way for your body to send up a red flag to warn you that all is not well underneath. When our skin is unhealthy it is usually a reflection of the internal state of our bodies, and is often a sign of poor elimination of toxins and waste products. Most of us are embarrassed by skin problems such as rashes, rosacea, boils or acne, especially in places where others can see our imperfections. The skin is the body's first line of defense against the environment. It has to deal with the effects of weather, sun , cold, heat, dryness, humidity, scrapes, bumps, soaps, detergents, chemicals, perspiration and dirt of all kinds. It is a wonder that our skin stays healthy most of the time! We can help our skin deal with this onslaught by optimizing our general health and by protecting our skin from harsh environmental exposure. Western medicine generally treats skin eruptions with either antibiotics, cortisone, or antifungal preparations. These medicines may alleviate the skin problem temporarily, or occasionally for good, but do not address the source of the problem. Putting a lid on skin symptoms without getting to the root of the imbalance may even result in suppression, that means the imbalance may be driven deeper causing more serious health problems later without ever strengthening the underlying vital force of the person. Fortunately, naturopathic medicine offers a wide vareity of effective treatments for skin problems.';

    Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman N.D. - ';Your skin is a reflection of how well your body is eliminating the toxins that build up on a daily basis. Chronic skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis stem from a combination of genetic factors, immune stress, dietary deficiencies or sensitivities, and the accumulation of toxins in the body. For our skin to be radiant and clear, it is very important that the other organs of elimination (kidneys, liver, lungs, and colon) are cleansing the body effectively. If not, the skin will be overtaxed, pores will become clogged, and eruptions of one sort or another will result. Here are a number of steps you can take to improve your body's overall elimination wtih specific emphasis on your skin.';

    2. Unwholesome Foods: Acne, a prevalent problem among teen-aged boys would not be possible in our society if our foods were wholesome. A most sad and disgusting sight is the pus-filled pimples due to inner toxicity --- wastes trying desperately to escape through the face. This condition often turns a gentle face in the blossom of youth into a waste dump of pimples, pus and subsequent pock marks which can be prevented. The tons of acne medications and prescriptions sold annually act only on the effect of the harmful food, and not the cause of the disease, malnutrition. The traditional teenage meal, a grease burger, french fries and a milk shake or cola simply does not provide enough nourishment for anyone, let alone a boy going through puberty to adulthood. Our highly processed foods are devoid of hormones found in fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds. Must do a colon cleanse to rid of all the toxins in the body, which eventually get into the blood and cause acne and all other diseases.

    3. Cabbage: Apply a lotion of freshly prepared cabbage juice preceded, if desired, by the application of leaves. The eating of cabbage leaves or juice is also helpful.
